There's going to be a big group of Portlanders heading down to Lost Rocks (in Kalamath, CA) this week, and I'm going to be one of them. It'll be my first time down there and although most of the people I'm going with have been there a few times I'd like to get some impressions from y'all around here.

I've heard everything from "It's better than Bishop" to "Eh, bouldering on the beach is kinda cool". I know that due to shifting sands it's nigh on impossible to make a guide for it, but is there anything I should try to jump on? How's the camping? Any good cheap food in Kalamath?
