I'm looking to hike in and check out some of the High Sierra climbing areas w/ my dog. I'm thinking of Bear Creek Spire, Temple Crag, etc. Something around that area. I wanted to do an overnight trip, mainly a scouting mission. All the park websites are sort of confusing on where and when you can be where and do what. Does anyone have a good suggestion for getting in anywhere this weekend to checkout a route? Thanks!
