Description

Terrible landings abound on the North Quarry Boulder. The best way down is to down-climb the lichen slab then jump to an adjacent flat boulder.

Getting There

From the Quarry walk into the trees just left of the East Quarry Boulder. This is the first big boulder you'll run into.

Starts low on crimps and moves up onto better crimps and a nice deep small crimp on the bulge. Go straight up to the point from here on a 2 finger crimp that you crank up onto. Kind of a scary committing top out....[more]   Browse More Classics in MN

The real cherry on this boulder is the diamond shaped North face which is tall and deceptively hard. I am stuck trying to do a difficult thumb under-cling. The steep east face is super fun!
