BETA PHOTO: North Arete,
V1 20ft.

Description

Climb the gnarly, off-the-deck arÍte. Starts out slightly overhung and the angle eases as you climb. Cool, but a little terrifying. Sit start bumps it to V2.

Location

The tall arÍte on the north (closest to the parking area) corner of the large lower boulder.

Protection

Pads (preferably more than one) and a good spotter. The boulder at the base of the problem was covered in dried blood last time I was out here. Be careful.

as I remember by the time you're too high to bail onto the small boulder at the base you had done the crux.
