I just got back from Idyllwild and thought I'd pass along a recent change -- Adventure Passes, purchased typically at Nomad Adventures or the Ranger Station, are no longer required to park at Humber Park.

The owner of Nomad Adventure told me a judge ruled that unless specific services are being provided, nothing can be charged for the use of parking. So for you dirtbags, no more need to park below the main lots.

I've tested the waters on this a few times by parking without a pass. I've yet to get a ticket. No guarantees though. Ryan Strickland

The FS doesn't really give you a ticket....its a notice of violation, not a ticket.

It doesn't go to the DMV. I've thrown a dozen or more in the trash, no problem.

Throw them away, and don't sweat it.
