  • Description

This is the slab just right of Thunder Toad, and is easily toproped from the T.T. anchors.

Keep an independent line right of Thunder Toad crossing first a horizontal crack under an overlap (1st crux), and then a leftward diagonal hand crack, with a 2nd crux on the rounded slab above. Those two cracks provide the only potential pro on this climb.

This climb has a longer section of interesting climbing than the nearby Thunder Toad and Danger Mouse routes and is just as good and climbs in the same style as those routes. When it becomes cool once again to place new routes at TP, 3 bolts would do wonders for this climb, which is of as high quality as those to its left.

    Location

This climb is just right of Thunder Toad on the west face just left of Beastie Alley. Toprope it from the Thunder Toad anchors.

    Protection

Small cams/nuts in cracks. At present, unless you like major scariness, it's best to just toprope this off the Thunder Toad anchor.

Unless we hear about other earlier ascents, I would propose the name "Wonder Dog" to keep the theme used on this slab.
