BETA PHOTO: Thief in Time, Cochiti Ugly, [[La Esp...

Description

La Espina climbs a rounded arete and face just to the left of Cochiti Classic. Very fun and sustained from the moment you step off the deck to the time you clip the anchors. This route has new hardware and the original cold shut anchors have now been replaced with 1/2" bolts reinforced with epoxy.

Location

10 feet to the left of Cochiti Classic, just around the corner from the boulder leading up to Monkey Lust

Protection

8 bolts to a 2-bolt chained anchor (but listed as 7 in 'Sport Climbing in NM' and 9 in 'Jemez Rock'.)
