Description

This area is a distinct band of grey cliffs that form a fin, located to the north of the graden area. as with other Pena Blanca areas on the western slope of the mountian, it receives a lot of wind and the climbing here is less protected than some of the routes at the Garden. The rock is similar to the Garden but of a lesser quality, a kind of grey-tan sandstone. There are some impressive rock formations here, but they are better for looking at than climbing.

Getting There

Follw the 4x4 rd on the west side of the mountain ridge until there is a log partially blocking a road that heads up to the cliffs. This rd delivers you right to the climbing and if your vehicle has made it to the log, it can make it the rest of the way.
