John K chumming the waters on the FFA of Feeding F...

Description

A great line with more good rock climbing and a double crux, the harder of which is a tad on the off-balance side. The line looks poorly protected from the bottom. Don't be a bottom feeder ! Get on this thing, it pros great with a couple of permanent pieces in-situ. Join the first set of anchors for Bush Shark Spire and complete the second pitch or rap off from there at the 2BA.

Location

Start 3m left of the Bush Shark Spire Route.

Protection

Small to medium trad rack. With a single 70m rope you have just enough to be lowered back to the ground, although you can make it down with a 60m rope, it could be challenging to get back down with a shorter cord.

Lee Brinkerhoff and I discovered this route. He should be included in the FA credits. The route is also quite a bit longer then the suggested 60ft. It is more like 115-120ft. With a single 70m rope you have just enough to be lowered back to the ground.

John and I first TR'd and cleeaned this route in Nov '03, then the bolts went in in December when I was out with Bryan and John, but at the time none of us lead it.
