Description

Start with both hands on a decent face hold, then move up and to the left past the crack. Move up again to the top (some tricky foot beta will help) and mantel the finish.

Location

When the trail splits go to the left, Firecracker is in the second group of boulders (at the bottom of a short steep hill.) It is up a crack which will be on your right when you are on the trail.

Protection

pads and spotters certainly make you feel better.

Frequently the landing zone for this problem is a 10 ft wide puddle. Therefore, whenever this problem has a dry landing it should be done.
