This is one of the big draws to Vertical Dreams a 70 foot elevator shaft that has been converted in to a climbing wall... There are toprope and lead climbs in here with four ropes hanging... The routes are long and pumpy and will work your endurance in a way that is hard to find in most other gyms...
In the shaft we belay with GriGris and you may not belay in here if you just learned how to use an ATC, tie your knots or if we judge that you are not ready for this great responsibility...
Getting There
You need a key to get in... so ask at the desk if you can hit the shaft... Then take the stairs to the 2nd floor and look for the door next to the bench... There is a sign next to it that will tell you that you have arrived...
