Description

Has ANYONE else done this route ???? I did it in 93 and it seemed like an f/a 18 years after james, I have not heard of any other ascents. Somewhat dirty(suprise) and with some wide-ish sections, the climbing is actually pretty good and the setting is great.
Named for Stewart Green, james' friend . Get It ?

Location

Just right a center, but very hard to see with a scruffy start.Possible to rap off trees- I assume james walked off ! What a horror show that would be!!!!

Protection

Cams and a wire brush. No fixed gear that I saw.

yup, climbed it in 2007 with a buddy when i was working for the appalachian mating club, we climbed two pitches from hands to fists and left nuts to rap, sweet route, i wish it was a bit cleaner (nasty as hell) but then it would be more popular, the approach was easier than I thought coming from sawyer pond. Strandman, did you quote websters second edition there with "stewart green-get it?". Classic.

Ya Ed and I discussed the name a few times, thought it was pretty good.
