| imo the following links lack proper contrast/relative visibility: * My Account * Order Status * Sign in * Wish list suggest moving inline with Home/AboutUs or relocate in 'sky' area of header (lighter background increases visibility) -or- change color of text to white (or lighter color) optional placement- 'Privacy Policy' doesn't really need to be part of the main top-menu, relocate to bottom of page (common practice) near 'Sitemap' successful websites need time to evolve- be patient, have fun & good luck! (edit+ \adding incentive coupons, good idea) | FLAG |

| I was pretty bummed as well when I discovered you are plugging your site without any 'real' incentive to give you a try. One killer coupon or deal will get people talking. In fact, one killer deal or promo can often times get you bookmarked. DO IT! | FLAG |

| ClimbingOn wrote: My take on your site: Why would anyone purchase from you? More importantly, IMO - is any of this stuff in stock? If not, good luck keeping customers happy with 2 week deliveries while you play middle man - all for full retail and shipping costs. The whole empty webfront thing went out last decade. I would guess the climbing distributors and OEMs have more significant barriers in place than, say, 10years ago - preventing coloradocrackgear from undercutting more the successful and established shops. | FLAG |

| Bought a cam from the website. Great service I got it the day after I ordered it! You will never get that from one of the big guys (Mountain gear, gearexpress, rei, backcountry...). They also honored the discount for MP forum readers. The package was delivered with a hand written thank you note and the owner followed up with an email! I will also say that if you order from CCG, you will get a "bonus" in the mail for future purchases. Very pleased! I will def buy again! Great service and a discount = Awesome! Dave | FLAG |

| Hey Drew. Nice talking to you on the phone a few days ago. You helped me out having those ladders in stock (everyone else I called are waiting on Yates for them) and your price was right too... all is appreciated. I just made up and order and on-lined it through your site (got some other stuff too). Have a happy Thanks Giving and best wish's.. PS> and yes, I posted this to let others know of my experience with Colorado Crack Gear. So far so good... Go! | FLAG |

| Any new business venture will take some time to work the kinks out. It seems like you're putting forth the effort and time to do that. I'll buy from you for that alone. Coupons do help though. Keep plugging away, you'll get it tweaked, and don't let anyone discourage you. | FLAG |

| Typo: You put WILDfetish.com for Widefetish in the links. The link works, though. Good luck with your site. Got Facebook yet? If you'd like to exchange links with me on my ClimbAddictDesigns.com site, send me a note. edit: hahah - MP autolinks .com urls when in a post. Good news! WILDfetish is available! | FLAG |

| One thing I like about REI.com is that they've got videos about a lot of the products. This is something I have yet to see from any climbing-centric online retailer. It doesn't need to be a full-blown review or anything, but just hold the cam or rope or jacket or crash pad or whatever in front of the camera and talk about its features. It's nice seeing what something actually looks like when it's being handled instead of in front of a white background. | FLAG |

| Hi Drew. Order just got here... that was quick. Just to fill everyone in. I forgot to choose colors on some adjustable daisy's. Thanksgiving day I got an email from Drew and CCG.. I know it was a holiday and these guys were putting in the time to pack orders. I just received my package and it's the Monday following the holiday. Now that's service. I want to put in a good word as Drew had my items in stock...ie, he's not just drop shipping, and he got them here quick. Thanks for the great service and great price too. I'll be buying from you again... | FLAG |

| Dear Drew, I wish you all the best with your new company. It is the collective dream of Americans, and people abroad like me, to be able to thrive doing what they love. I love trad climbing, just like you, and I am thrilled to hear that someone is starting a grass-roots company because they LOVE climbing in the face of nasty giant companies that forgot to look up what RP means. Money talks, we all know that, and sales, low prices, and competition are inevitable. This will make it hard to survive against huge retailers like backcountry. But remember the long term goal: someday owning a small gear outlet in Eldorado Springs and being able to afford to call Eldo your permanent home. Heck, if all else fails, you could disguise yet another "pharmacy" in Eldo behind the mask of a climbing store. My climbing friends, don't forget that climbing is a lifestyle, not just another sport. Buy from the little fella and for the love of God, let companies that are huge and have nothing to do with climbing *cough* adidas and *really hard cough* nike know that this sport is for us, not for giant profits. I believe that now or never, little unique companies could really change the face of climbing, and should, for the better. Don't forget this, guys, that you as the 'consumer' have the power to alter the climbing community. What is a couple of extra dollars, anyway? Shipping from a little guy who supports his community or saving the money, buying a mocha latte that you complain makes you fat, and buying the same gear from a big company that is owned by Liz Claiborne who ruthlessly advertises in women's magazines making them have lower self esteem which makes them basically terrible girlfriends (i had this problem, i know). SEE??? It is all related here people! Ok, I am done. Drew, I hope that people will see how powerful they are as consumers and realize the clear benefit from buying crack climbing material from coloradocrackgear.com. BTW, do you ship to Europe? I could really use that 20% off for some QD's!!!!!! Let me know! HUGS FROM DEUTSCHLAND! | FLAG |
