| Andy & I have finished a new feature called "The Classics". It's a list of the classic climbs at almost all areas. If an area has no climbs that we deem classic, there are non listed. This feature should be really fun & useful. Andy is currently in Red Rocks, and found himself browsing areas really appreciating when the poster (or admin) included links to classic climbs in the description. And it then dawned on us that we have plenty of data from user behavior to surface a selection of classic routes for every area. Really handy when visiting a new area or formation. For instance, you can see a set of "classic" routes at just Suicide, or just Split Rocks @ Jtree, or a list covering all of Josh. The "Classic Ranker" that chooses the climbs is our top-secret patent-pending system that we think does a pretty good job based on the areas we know. Some examples (scroll down a bit to see The Classics): Red Rock Nevada: www.mountainproject.com/v/nevada/red_rock/105731932 Colorado Alpine: www.mountainproject.com/v/colorado/alpine_rock/105744466 The Trapps (Gunks): www.mountainproject.com/v/new_york/the_gunks/the_trapps/1057>>> | FLAG |

| Awesome feature. Makes it really easy to check out an area. Suggestion would be to sort them by type (Sport/Trad/Bouldering) and grade so that it is a lot easier to read. Or at least grade (which would automatically sort bouldering from the others). | FLAG |

| Nice feature. Note: for the telluride area, Seamstress Corner should maybe be deleted from the list if the criteria includes popularity. This route may see one ascent a year if even. | FLAG |

| Seems like there is something fishy for areas that have 5.14. If you notice in the classics in Rumney two routes are out of order www.mountainproject.com/v/new_hampshire/rumney/105867829 I see the following at the top instead below the 5.13's Cold War 5.14a Sport Waimea China Beach 5.14b Sport Waimea Smith Rock also has this problem... Great feature!! - Luke | FLAG |

| One tweak to consider might be to link the consensus rating with the rating shown, since often the initial rating (the one currently listed) is that of one user and not necessarily reflective of the general climbing community. | FLAG |

| Great work Nick and Andy! Have you considered setting up PayPal accounts to allow members to show appreciation to all the people making it happen at MP? I would contribute gladly. You guys are doing a great job. | FLAG |

| "Classics" browser. Nick just finished this... mountainproject.com/scripts/Classics.php It allows you to easily browse classics by area. The first page is the most classic routes in the entire database, as determined by MP's algorithm. Kind of a cool list! How many have you done???????? ps. Just noticed a bug, it caches other people's star ratings. BUT the list is accurate. *** from Nick: Fixed. | FLAG |

| Awesome list. I have done 20 of them but I have rarely climbed in CO where many of the best moderates on the list are located. | FLAG |
