DescriptionVolcanic rock. Really hurts the fingers. Year round climbing, can be really hot in the summer. Getting ThereFrom Reno. Head south on Hwy 395 towards Carson City. Get off the freeway at North Carson Street. Take a left onto E college parkway. Left on Goni Road. Follow Goni untill you it dead ends at a gate. At this point, turn right onto a poorley paved road. Follow the Road as it turns to dirt. You will arive at a very large switchback which sweeps right. Park on the shoulder on the left side of the road so the Semi's don't hit you. Walk on the jeep road which is on the north side of the main road. Stay right at the first fork. After about 100 yards after the fork, there is a walking trail which heads west. Follow it to the boulder's. You should walk up to the Wasabie boulder which is big and overhanging.
