Not to be too picky, but, what's their beer selection like? | FLAG |
By George Wilson From Las Vegas Oct 9, 2009
| Irish bar...Irish beer! Three Angry Wives is just a suggestion. | FLAG |

| Three Angry Wives is good. It is located a half block east of Charleston and Ft. Apache, across from Whole Foods. See you all Wednesday. | FLAG |

| Beer night sounds great. I went to the Three Angry Wives once. It was smokey and dirty in there. BJ's is a lot nicer. | FLAG |

Perfecto!!.....uh, for a bunch of dirty, smelly ass, tick infested Red Rock climbers. We won't offend anyone there! ; ) | FLAG |

A big thanks to John Hegyes for the back stage tour of Cirque's Love last night. Made our night... thanks John! | FLAG |

| Spread the word people. And before you drop by the Three Angry Wives, pick up a copy of Alpinist #28 magazine. There is a 22 page section on Red Rock by Joanne Urioste and others. It's a good read and now I'm real pumped up to pull down in the canyons this fall... | FLAG |

| That may be the problem with BJs as a climber bar. it is kinda upscale for the likes of some of us. Will spread the word. | FLAG |

| So is Three Angry Wives the location? They serve food right? | FLAG |
By John Hegyes From Las Vegas, NV Oct 12, 2009
| Yes, Three Angry Wives serves food; it's pretty good. The menu has Irish pub chow in addition to the usual American fare.
The only problem I have with BJs is that it is a chain and I prefer to support local business. That being said, I do go to BJ's sometimes - their microbrews are good. But I don't think it would be easy to accomodate what might be a large group there. | FLAG |

| I know, T; three angry wives, and tequila don't mix, but lately, when I've looked into the eyes of an agave, I've gotten thirstier. | FLAG |

See you guys there. I'm assuming sometime after the loop road closes? Ha ha.

Now don't go speeding through the loop, and scaring the bicyclists that are going the wrong way on the one way loop road. Hee, hee; I actually just remembered something from a post of yours back in the day on MP. | FLAG |

| I go around some of those blind corners pretty fast...whilst passing the slower cars. Not gonna scare a biker, gonna wear 'em!
Some of the info kiosks have the rules posted about bikes going in the direction of travel per Nevada law. Might work. Hopefully.
I see from the Three Angry Wives website, happy hour is from 2 to 6pm, with half price appy's and beer. Hmmm...may have to make a point of packin' 'er in a tad earlier...(someone order some chicken fingers and the hoppiest beer if you don't see us by 6pm!).
Cheers! | FLAG |

| Alright, I counted 28 people at tonight's beer night. Thanks to all who showed up and made it a successful evening of beer swilling and smack talking. I personally haven't spent that long talking about climbing since I don't know when. I hope to see you all again soon! | FLAG |

| What an awesome beer (and tequila!) night! It was nice to catch up with friends, and meet other local climbers, and the out of towner MPers.
Three Angry Wives worked out nicely, and we pretty much had the whole lounge area all to ourselves, with plenty of seating, food, and drink. What a great vibe last night!
Andy, and Wendy,
Thanks for coming out, and happy climbing! | FLAG |
