Typically, the meetings are the third wednesday of every month.

The site usually alternates between the Red Rock Climbing Center (for the month of may) and REI in an attempt to accomodate folks on either side of the valley.

However, due to the nature of this meeting, we may need to find a better location to accomodate the many people that are interested in the climbing management plan.

For now it will be held at the Red Rock Climbing Center @ 7pm, Wed. May 21.

I will post more information when the details are finalized, probably mid next week.

Thank you for the info, Chris. I would really like to see meeting dates, etc on the CLC website. I know the site used include meeting dates, times, agendas, calendars etc. Not sure what happened to that but it seems this may be a really good time to make sure that sort of info is current.

Hi All,

The LVCLC meeting has been moved from Wednesday May 21, 2008 to Wednesday May 28, 2008. We will be meeting at the Enterprise Library at 7:00pm. As Chris said, normally we rotate every other month at REI and RRCC. But due to some scheduling conflicts and the potential number of people that may attend the meeting, we needed to change things up a bit.

Topics of meeting include:
Wilderness Management Plan
Wag Bag Initative
Upcoming LVCLC events

Special Guest: Jed Botsford with the Bureau of Land Management.

The library is down past the new fancy mall on South Las Vegas Blvd. Traveling south on Las Vegas Blvd you will see a HUGE sign that says BUDGET BUDGET SUITES in red. The library is just before that sign on the east side of the road.

you are correct. The meeting times should be up on the clc website.

We are currently updating the site along with adding a few new pages to it. You should expect to see the updated website by mid next month (June).

Thanks for noticing. Please let me or any of the clc members know if you have any recommendations for the website. I'm always interested in ways to improve communications and getting more people involved!!
