Sorry for the late notice, two of us are going to Moderate Mecca tomorrow (Monday) morning to work on some technical skills and emergency procedures. We’re going to be working on: belay escape, ascending the rappel lines, using a double munter hitch and carabiner brake for the rap, aiding past a crux, hauling and lowering, and building and using rap anchor's from scratch. This is not an organized outing and I am not a guide. We’re just going out to work on some skills in preparation for longer multi-pitch and adventure routes later in the season. We’ll be at the Red Springs parking area @ 7:45 and then over at Moderate for most of the morning.
