Come one, come all,

Where: Red Rock Climber Center
When: Thursday, March 27th from 6-8pm for BBQ and 8-9:30 for film

What: BBQ get together for all interested. Then a fantastic film about Tanya Riggs, her summit of Everest, and her goals for raising awareness for peace in a war-torm region of the world. www.everestpeaceproject.net for more info.

How much: $10 for the BBQ, presentation, and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets: $3 for 1, $5 for 2, or $10 for 5.

Proceeds from this event go to the Las Vegas Climbers Liasion Council for their anchor replacement initiative and to the HERA Foundation (a climber organization focused on fighting ovarian cancer).

Raffle? If you've been to a DRS sponsered raffle, you know how awesome they are. Last year several ropes were raffled away, harnesses, polypro, fleece, I think even a backpack or two (don't quote me on that). It really is quite impressive what the store donates.
