Making a trip to Red Rocks Oct.8th-17th. Was wanting to know what the average temps. have been like lately and if we need to still be planning on chasing shade. I have a list of climbs I want to do. Any feed back on my list or recommendations for good climbs based on current weather would be helpful.

Black Magic
Lotta Balls
Prince of Darkness
Dream of Wild Turkeys
Frog Land
Rainbow Buttress
Johnny Vegas, Solar Slab (assuming this will be to hot)
Crimson Chrysalis
Unimpeachable Groping
Black Dagger
Eagle Dance

Cam,

It's been really warm with highs over 100, but it is cooling off and we have some storms moving in. Hopefully it will be dry for you.

If the sun is shining, you will probably be a little warm when in the sun and a little cold when in the shade but doable in both.

Cheers,

Doug

The Weather Service reports 0.1 inch of rain the night of Sunday, Oct 3 at the Visitor Center.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
