Title spells out the basics. This job is in the Chicago area. Tall narrow chimneys need a worker who can rappel down, inspect and do work as they will be taught. Having your own rappel rack and ascenders, helmet, headlamp, static line rope, etc. would be a plus. Chimneys are 3 to 4 ft. in diameter, so it is fairly tight working space. This may or may not turn into a regularly needed job prospect. Company is looking in to getting the needed equipment; the main requirement is a strong climber type who has total mastery of rappel working conditions. If interested and for more info, post up here or call directly to Loretta at 708-548-8450.

Thanks for the post. I am a professional engineer and specialize in technical inspections (bridges, water towers, rope access, confined space, underwater, etc.). I have been in contact with Loretta. This kind of stuff is right up my alley.
