Howdy all, I'm planning on spending the months of July and August climbing in Wyoming. My main goal is to get some good alpine rock climbs in in the Tetons and the Winds, but I'm also really wanting to head up to Devil's tower as well. My plans are really fluid right now, I'll be traveling to where there's climbing and folks to rope in with, so if you plan on being in the area and would like to rope up, I'd be really psyched and absolutely buy you a few beers for your time.

I haven't been climbing for too long, this trip will mark a full year of trad climbing, But I've become obsessed with it, I live in Chattanooga, TN, and I learned to climb at the Tennessee Wall, which has been a great place to learn because the climbing is so diverse. I can lead 10a on trad and follow 11b/c, and while most of my climbing has been cragging, I have done enough multipitch in western north carolina to hone my skills for the big rocks.

I'll be out there. I'll have a partner but will be looking for someone to do some harder routes with. If you can really follow 11 trad and are competent on longer routes I'd love to rope up.

I'm from NC. What have you climbed there? Lead, followed... how did you find the climbs, etc.

Hey guys Im living in Colter Bay on the north end of GTNP and looking to get some climbing done. I was here last summer and did some sport climbing in the area and some of the major peaks. I have a nice rack and leading experience and can usually get 3days off at a time. Send me a PM. There is also a post titled Tetons for some others in the area looking for partners. Im a competent and safe climber and looking to do peaks in a day, but will climb anything else. 5.8-12
