Need a NC climbing partner. I have tons of gear

My name is Ryan. I have moved from MD to Charlotte and have nobody to climb with. I have tons of gear for most types of climbing including toprope, sport, and my favorite trad. I am very safety conscious and would consider myself just above amateur leader. I have taken several lessons at Seneca WV. And have been climbing for 5 years now. 2 years trad. I am willing to travel and would love to explore Linville Gorge. Someone with any knowledge of the area would be great but not necessary.

I'm also Ryan, about the same amount of experience as you. Have been climbing a lot in NC and have a good amount of climbing knowledge about Linville and some on stone mountain. You should check out a route called the Daddy in Linville. Its getting cold though...

Hey Ryan, Welcome to Charlotte Area. I am pretty new to about 3 years., but still building up my lay of the land.

I might be heading to the crowders hidden wall on Sunday. I'll keep ya post though. Like 50/50 shot right now.

Also you should come climb at the new south-end gym sometime too.

Private message me and I'll shoot you my phone number.

I am in the same boat, and would like to get out this weekend. I have gear and can meet pretty much anywhere in NC. Sent you a PM.

I replied to everybody via e mail. Did they go through?

Anyone interested in climbing Stone mountain sometime between 12/16/15 and 1/2/16 with me?

Have gear and happy to lead or follow! I'd love to do the huge 5.8 and the classic 5.5 great arch!

My girlfriend and I will likely be climbing in Stone Mountain this weekend (12/19-12/20). Weather looks cold but clear. We are planning to do the Great Arch, and whatever else strikes our fancy!

Hey Ryan, Welcome to the area. I live down in Greenville, SC but am up in NC a good bit. I'd be happy to show you the area. Crowders is right in between us and a couple of friends and I normally go Mondays. I'm sure we can coordinate something.

Hey Kyle,
Thanks for responding. It's hard for me to get out during the week. The
next few weekends I'll be busy. I did make it out to Crowders last sunday.
We climbed at the practice wall most of the day and did some exploring.
Definitely keep in touch I'd love to get back out soon.

You really should check out hidden wall, middle finger wall/behind middle finger and davids castle. All great spots with a solid mix of everything.

Late notice, but are any of y'all interested in climbing tomorrow? I'm thinking, most particularly, Rumbling Bald or Looking Glass. I'm in town from CO, and excited to have a go on some of this southern rock. I've got a 70m and a single rack, with some extras. Up for trad or sport. Let's usher in the new year with an adventure!

Planning to be at Rumbling Bald tomorrow (1/1/2016) with my family. Bringing crash pad for bouldering and sport climbing gear just in case. Would love to try a couple of routes, but I have no trad experience and only a 60m rope. Let me know if anyone would like to join us and maybe show us around. We are from Louisiana. Have climbed in Texas, Arkansas, Georgia and Tennesee. Our first time in NC! Really stoked.

I am free on Sunday if anyone is interested in climbing some trad/sport. I am around Asheville and would be interested in Looking Glass, Rumbling Bald or anywhere else for that matter.

I have many 70m ropes and a double/partial triple rack. I will be free to climb all week really.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
