Mt. Webster - Winter Ice & Rock Climbing
BETA PHOTO: Mt Webster - Landslide Gully to the "North Sl...
Many long moderate gullies up the west slope of Mt Webster, opposite Mt. Willey. The gullies, though moderate, are long, consistent, and offer some stunning views of the notch.
Most climbs, although perhaps technically easy, are alpine in nature. Be aware of, and cautious of, potential avalanche conditions. [R Hall; Admin's note]
Park on rt 302 on the east side and follow foot paths or bushwack to your climb. You will cross Saco river so be careful in spring conditions, but in winter the river is easy to manage.

The second pitch climbs the main flow that comes down on the left WI3. There is a rugged looking flow that we'll call Greens Chasm Direct that looks pretty hard.
