Heyo, can anyone tell us how to download straight to the card? I don't have enough space left on my phone for the route I want. Thanks. kdaddy

Yours truly on Treiber's Deception.
Wondering if this has been fixed yet? Sure would be nice to free up space on Internal memory. DesertRat

bump. My phone is running out of storage. I want to move the climbing areas to the SD card. New versions of Android don't allow you to move the whole application to the SD card by default, but the programs still allow data to be moved to SD card (which in the case I'd the MP app is the majority of the storage space anyway). any plan to fix this? +100000 Really need this basic functionality - allow us to specify where app stores data. John Tissavary

i'm just so fabulous
I agree. This would be a great feature. I have almost infinite space on SD card, but very limited on my device. Having this capability would be great. Sean P.

Go to App Info for Mountain Project. Select "Move to SD Card". It will move the whole app & all of its data to the SD card. Patrick Shyvers

Tried, but errors out. I currently have over 7GB free on SD, but when I attempt to move app & data (currently 28MB), I get insufficient space error. I've also tried this in the past and had issues with stability running apps from SD.

At this point most data hungry apps provide user options to specify data location - MP app is a perfect candidate since it tends to store a lot of data.

Ouch. How much free space on the phone? I know you can't install new apps with less than 500MB of space left on the phone because it needs extra room to work on the install. Maybe it's your phone that has insufficient space, to perform the move? Can't comment on stability, mine has been working fine. SD cards are a crapshoot from the beginning with the wide variety of speed & quality.

Definitely agree it is a suitable candidate. The lead time on enhancements to the MP app is fairly long though, and I'm impatient :)

I have over 1GB right now on the phone itself, can install apps without issue, so probably something with my config.
