Description

Mount Wilson dominates the landscape just north of the Saskatchewan River crossing, where the Parkway intersects with the David Thompson Highway. It is home to dozens of fine ice and mixed routes.

Getting There

Travel north from Banff on the Trans-Canada highway to the Icefields Parkway turnoff, just north of Lake Louise. Continue north on the Parkway to the intersection with the David Thompson Highway. In good driving conditions, you'll need about 1.5 hours of travel time.
