- Thanks to ACSD for providing the following updates!
- Poway Crag's Ramona Wall and Miller Time Wall have a closure in effect from Dec 15th through August 31st annually dur to nesting raptors
- Glen Cliff has a closure in effect from Dec 15th through August, or if/when it is determined that nesting is not occurring
- Mt Gower also has a closure in effect from Dec 15th through August, or if/when it is determined that nesting is not occurring
- In recent years, Gower has been home to seasonally nesting raptors. To avoid human disturbance of nesting activities, advisories may be in effect from around December through August. Check the ACSD and CNF websites for details.

Keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment

Description A single feature dominates this seemingly blank face.
Start directly beneath the described feature. Delicate moves will take you upwards until the arete can be reached out left. Stay on the face as you make additional progress directly upwards, eventually moving around the arete much closer to the top.
Location Exit the road to the left just before reaching the water tower. Follow the trail as it trends left, away from the fence.
Protection Pad - flat landing.

| Moroccan menace climbs the face only until the arete can be reached, then it is a burly rounded lieback to the top. If people are climbing straight up the face without using the steep, bald arete on the left, it should have a name because that would be a different problem.
I was with Greg Epperson when he did the FA, and I did the first repeat, sometime in the early-mid 80s. |
