West facing - shaded/cool in morning, hot in p.m. Wasn't ever crowded years ago... but I understand there are quite a few routes now. These are the drilled/blasted cliffs just north of HUB. Same quartzite, close to vertical, about 60' high. The climbing is done on the steep faces, using the (partial)drill holes as side pulls along with small edges. There are no other significant features. Some folks may look upon these cliffs as an abomination and wonder why anyone would ever condescend to climb on them? They sat fallow for years and years... until I finally picked out the best/steepest line and found it to be way fun. The result was "Road Kill"
Getting There
South along the hiway from Eureka... just about 100-200 m. before (north) of the main HUB area. The approach - fall out of your vehicle and you are there.
