INTRODUCTION
At Monkman Provincial Park the continental divide leaves the crest, having been pushed west of the Rockies by the Peace River. From the alpine peaks in Monkman, southward to Mount Robson, there are 200 kilometers of icy peaks. Mount Alexander (3,274m) and Mount Ida (3,180m) are the big attractions and are shown by Rand McNalley.
