This is a really fun route that can be a great warm up! It starts on a simple corner that turns left and up past three bolts to the right facing dihedral where the crack starts. Many varied techniques are required. You can rap from the chains and check out the much harder "Curious George" route just left.

Great line that climbs much better than it looks. Skip the 2nd bolt, clip the 3rd long and have your belayer unclip the first one to limit rope drag. From there a set of cams from .5 to #4 gets you to the top.

Not bringing any beta except for the mini-guide photo, I didn't see any chains at the top of the chimney. Consequently, I went part way up the chimney, clipped the top bolt of Curious George, went around the arete, saw the chains on Gorillas in the Crack and finished there. Thought it was a bit tough for 5.9 (but not so tough as to be convinced I was off route).
My buddy and I raved about the position and thought provoking moves of Monkey Bumps on this exciting traverse only to discover (after getting home and looking at this web page) we didn't climb Monkey Bumps! We highly recommend this link-up and rate it 5.10.
