One of the few routes that I have climbed in the Alabama Hills that felt stiff for the grade.

Except for a few moves near the top, this route is pretty soft for 5.9. Great route however.

2 stars for the nice challenging moves at the top and some interesting climbing at the bottom.

Did not find this route feeling stiff as MF mentioned, on the contrary it felt very similar to it's neighbors on Hoodgie Wall; 5.8 at best. Whatever the grade, it's nice climbing, well protected and definitely worth doing.

While doing the moves up near the top, I thought it was 50/50 that I might pitch off this thing. Seemed pretty hard to me.

Extremely well protected - even for a sport route. But good sequential moves towards the top which are more technical than the routes on Hoogie - actually had to stop and think.

5.6 all the way to the top. one 5.9 move up there. Great rock, not much fun if you are looking for a 9!
