Mold & Mildew on Softgoods

So a few weeks ago I threw a bag full of slings (dyneema, nylon), draws, harness in the bed of my truck under what I though was a watertight bed cover. So the cover wasn't watertight and the bag has been slurping up water and my softgoods now smell musty.

I replaced the slings (thought they were a few years old - they were from 2010 so it was time anyway), washed the harness per mfg guidelines, and dried it all out. Retired the slings and dogbones.

Here is my question: what affect does mildew have on

(A) nylon
(B) dyneema

Note there is no visible mold or mildew on anything. Just kinda stinky

Based on nothing but this article I just Googled, looks like mold doesn't hurt nylon.
