Description

This climb connects a series of daggers and curtains with a small crack (crux) in the center of the route. NOTICE: The park service does not want people to mix climb in the park due to the nature of the rock. This climb has harder rock that anywhere else in the park and any tool marks will not be visible to boaters.

Location

This climb is located along the lakeshore trail east of Mosquito Beach. Walk east of the beach for approx. 30 minutes until you climb up a short hill. 5 minutes after the hill look left and the climb will be located in a bowl opposite side of the "Indian Head" of Grand Portal Point.

Protection

To lead take screws and an angle or two (#4-#6),
or top rope from trees (bring lots of webbing).
