Climbing in Mankato is currently operating under a don't ask don't tell policy. It is imperative that climbers in Mankato keep an incredibly low profile at every destination entered.
Climbing in this area may or may not be trespassing - but nothing is posted. The police say that the land owners up above own to the top of the cliffs, and the city owns below the cliffs, so while you are climbing, you are fine?! :)
Ingman traversing over to the top out
Description
Traverse out left on the huge ledge as your feet get further and further away from you (would help to be tall for this part). After traversing all the way out to the prow, topout straight up the prow with a high foot and a big move to a positive crimper (crux) and then top-out carefully. This is an excellent boulder problem.
Location
Pad and Spotters so you don't fall down the hill.
Protection
Start where the leftmost overhang fully meets the wall (about 20ft from the left end of the cliff band). Traverse left and topout at the prow of the overhang.
