BETA PHOTO: 8th St. Bridge AKA Chester

Description

A very short climb under the bridge on Chester Creek. Easy to set up for TR with either screws or slings on trees. You'll spend more time setting this up than climbing due to the short nature of the climb but it's a good place to bring beginners. About 16 feet of actual climbing...the bottom is rampy.

This is formed from street run off and is salty...make sure to clean your gear and rope afterwards.

Doesn't always form.

Location

Under 8th St Bridge in Chester Park (between 13th and 14th Ave East).

Protection

2 or 3 screws if leading...TR this! Do not solo or "boulder" this line...the landing is bad and people who do fall get hurt!

There is a nice fat flow to the right of the common climb as well.
