Description

A potentially excellent area once it is cleaned up a bit. Consists of two 15 foot overhanging cliff bands with good landings and probably a dozen or so potential routes; maybe even a couple of classics. We are in the process of putting out some more information on the routes, and cleaning them up. For now here are some pictures. More to come...

Getting There

Find the large parking lot between 40th Ave. W. and 27th Ave. W. on Skyline Drive. (Same parking as for Piedmont boulders, and Postpartum wall). Walk north up the road about 40 meters and you'll see the small cliff bands uphill. The lower wall, and upper (directly above it) are very similar in look and potential.

It has a great sit start (a lot of sds in Duluth lack the quality of actually being cool) 2. The movement flows well and is consistent throughout the climb 3. The holds are cool 4. There is an amazing pinch that I had to use (and you will likely not find a hold like this anywhere else in Duluth or Northern MN for that matter!) 5. I...[more]   Browse More Classics in MN
