Description

Do a sit start down low on a two pinches. Make a series of hard moves through the crack system - eventually setting up and firing big out to the lip.

(No traversing to the right - top out directly above the crack system.)

This route requires considerable core tension and seems a bit "stouter" for its grade than other problems a number grade harder in the GJ area. For example, I flashed Surgical Precision V7, and Mono Pocket Rocket V5 at Unaweep Canyon, a week prior.

Different rock brings different skill sets, which in turn, demands different climbing styles...I'm just saying.

This feature offers a good, non-contrived problem if climbed from starting holds to the the crack, then to the sidepull out right (which is the coolest hold on the whole mountain), then fire up to a pocket before topping.
