When we warm up for climbing, we try to create a proper mindset for climbing. I just wrote this article, which explains how to prime your brain and body for the best mindset.

I hope you find it useful.

What does it mean if you "fail" all the questions?!

That is to say on list #1 I looked ahead to see where it was going, #2 I said Otter, and #3 I said none of the above (not sure if this is right or wrong ;)

Am I doomed to boulder on choss? or attempt oxygen-less oceanic volcano summits?

Please advice.

Too funny Holmes. Not sure what to make of your situation. Regardless, have fun!

Don...

How much of this is grounded in neuro linguistic programming if at all?

I have read a little about NLP (certainly not even close to an "expert") and it seems to be quite interesting in helping a person quickly change a behavior or create a new one or even to overcome fears.

Thanks Don

H, I'm not versed in NLP, but I'll look into it. I suspect that there is some relationship.
