Left end of Master's Wall. The Vatican on the left...

This wall hosts only a handful of climbs but is great nonetheless. Also, a great place to play if you are waiting for your turn at the Main Wall of Redrock when the crowds show up.

A1. Luck of the Irish, 8+, 1p, 25', gear or TR.
A2. The Vatican, 7+, 1p, 25', TR.
B. Iron Fist, 8, 1p, 15', TR.
C. Snag Bag, V1-2, 15'.

Getting There

Use the same approach as if you're heading to Main Wall of Redrock. From main crag, turn east away from the rock, walk up to the top of the ridge, and you are on top of “Master's Wall”.

Other Nearby Crags

In the Redrock and vicinity area, there are a number of small crags. To facilitate the user finding these, they have been left in the hierarchy they were submitted which splits them into the general Massachusetts and North Shore / Cape Ann sections. To facilitate a better understanding of their relative locations, we'll list them North to South:

This line starts on The Vatican, but after the first move or two, move out to the left on a thin, balancy edge for a small crimp. Stand up and reach for the big jug to the left and follow up the arete to the TR anchors....[more]   Browse More Classics in MA
