This is one of the more popular walls here. It is probably all of only 35 ft or less, but it is great fun for the beginner climber. Many a climber has cut his or her climbing teeth here. It faces east. Some of these climbs can be led. For history buffs, there is an ancient bolt here. Who placed it and when? Long slings are necessary for top rope anchors here. Getting There
This lies closest to Hammond Pond. It is probably best to park close tot eh south side of Hammond Pond. Then hike north along a dirt road. Take the right fork. This should put you below the crag.
