I'm hoping to get on one or the other of the moderate mixed lines up there in a couple weeks, but wonder if the snow/ice is already all gone [or will be by then].

Has anyone laid eyes on these lately? Any info is much appreciated!

Thanks, Scott

Just below Thunderbolt Peak

Did Dreamweaver Wednesday.

Still lots of snow. No ice. There were tracks already, so we didn't posthole or anything like that, but it sure wasn't ice or neve.

Martha was looking a little more bare. I think it's been melting too fast to form ice.

That and a lack of sub-freezing nights has pretty much been the story for the past 15 years. Suggest predawn if you want a hope of actually climbing something firm.

Did both yesterday. Martha is in classic mixed shape. Don't bother with ice screws but you'll definitely get some sticks. Dreamweaver is all snow with rock steps. Super fun. By the time any ice forms in dreamweaver, the snow between the steep steps will be melted enough that there will be tons of loose rock.
