Description Suggest change

A great summer crag which stays cool and shady. There is a good assortment of route difficulties and a good number of routes. The approach is also relatively easy, making this a well-frequented crag on weekends.
There are 4 sectors to the crag. The "Left Side" (Linker Teil) is the first you reach when approaching from the left side of the parking lot. The "Upper Wall" (Obere Wand) is accessed by walking to the right from the Linker Teil. The "Lower Wall" (Untere Wand) is the first you reach when approaching from the right side of the parking lot and walking back along the road, crossing the bridge on the left and heading up into the forest to the crag. The "Right Side" (Rechter Teil) is accessed by walking to the right from the Rechter Teil.

Getting There Suggest change

The GPS coordinates given are to the parking lot. To reach it, drive to Pottenstein and once there, continue in the direction of Bayreuth. 250m after the sign indicating the end of the village there's the parking lot on the right.
