Description

This area consist of the large boulders in from of the parking lot and has varying degrees of chossy and solid rock. Most boulder problems should have most choss removed, revealing sturdier rock underneath. WAIT AT LEAST 72 HOURS AFTER RAIN, maybe longer it not exposed to direct sunlight.

Getting There

Closest area to large parking lot on west side of the loop. Drive through entrance and take a left at the fork and parking lot should be visible directly ahead. From parking lot, walk east last parking lot in the loop. Boulder directly in front of loop parking lot is the Mangum Boulder.
