Description 

The Love Nest Area is a large rubble pile made up of giant boulders stacked atop one another to the east of the paved Quail Springs Road. The namesake of the area, The Love Nest, is the most well known feature here and a useful landmark as the trail to the Planet X Area and The Hang pass just beneath it's south face.

Notable problems here include California Babylon (V-easy), Sportin' Wood (V-easy), Kids of the Black Hole (V0), Mahogany (V2), Welcome to Reality (V4) and the Woody Problem (V4).

Getting There 

Parking for The Love Nest is located 1.4 miles south of Hidden Valley Campground and 0.3 miles north of Cap Rock in a paved pullout (room for 3-4 cars) located on the east side of the road.

Hike east following a marked trail to the obvious south-facing formation of The Love Nest. Bouldering is scattered about the base of the formation as well as on the eastern side of the rocky clump.
