How can one "find" a tent? Let me explain. As we made our way back to our camp site after climbing Castleton tower on the after noon of April 19th, we noticed that a tent had blown into a Juniper tree near our camp site (The tent was situated upside down). Given the windy conditions we assumed the owners would figure out that the wind blew there tent away and would come looking for it. Not knowing exactly where the tent blew in from, we decided to leave it where it was. The next morning at about 10:00am as we were leaving, we saw that the tent was now situated on its side in the middle of the road. We looked inside the tent and there was nothing in it (which is probably why the wind was blowing it around so easily). We picked up the tent and carried it to the nearest occupied camp sight and asked the occupants if the tent had belonged to them. The occupants of the campsite mentioned that some people had stopped by and were under the impression that someone had stolen there tent. If anybody reading this post knows of someone who was camping in the Castle valley area on April 19th and is claiming that there tent was stolen, this is not the case. We have it. Just notify me and we can make arrangements to get it back to you, them, whoever. ;-)
