Wife and I were in Eldo on 6/18 climbing reggae when someone fell on calypso and required a carryout. Our packs and shoes were pretty much right in the middle of everything and when we got down rescuers were gone as well as my wife's shoes. The shoes are LaSportiva Exum Ridge size 8.5 with blue custom insoles. Pretty sure someone just picked them up trying to be helpful and assuming they belonged to the party that had the accident. With the custom insoles they are pretty expensive so would really like to get them back.
On a side note it is great that we have such an efficient SAR organization here. Response time was really fast and they had the victim
out quickly. I realize that wind tower is a relatively easy mission as well as being common but a shout out to all the people that volunteer and hopefully never need to come get me.
