Chihuahua Power 5.9  AZ : Mount Lemmon (Santa Catalin... : ... : Lost Hawk
An obvious line up the pretty right side of the highest pinnacle in the area (to the right of Puppy Chow). Solid face climbing with some nice exposure. The route is pretty sustained throughout though the crux seemed to be just before the last bolt. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in AZ

I spent two hours bush wacking trying to find Lost Hawk. I really wanted to climb chihuahua power. Could not find it. Wasted a whole day. I guess it is named fittingly, but I would like to eventually find the hawk. I am very new to Mt. Lemmon so I would really appreciate some help,

Zero your odometer at the 0 marker at the bottom of the highway, at 13.3 park at a large pullout on the right, cross the road, you can see the pinnacle from there, hike/scramble down to the right, hard left at the bottom to get back to the pinnacle

I feel your pain. On my very first trip to Mt Lemmon about 10 years ago my partner and I got lost trying to find Chimney Rock. The approach is less than 10 seconds from the side of the road, at most. I still get lost.
