Description

Three days of bolting, hammering, prying, scraping and brushing have yielded a fairly high-quality route between "Cherry Pickin'" and "Branching Out". The route starts on the typical Jemez grit and launches into cleaner and steeper dark rock on a variety of holds (with many gastons). A good rest precedes an interesting last crux (heel hook?).

Location

Between "Cherry Pickin'" and "Branching Out". 11+ written in chalk at the base.

Protection

Eight bolts with quick clip anchors at the top.

This is a terrific addition to Area 37, likely one of the best routes there. The moves are sustained, fun and interesting, and the route climbs some of the best rock at the crag. Big kudos to the FA team for their cleaning efforts and vision.
