Hi all -

My friend and I are looking for a room or two to rent in Bishop for only a month (the entirety of May). We are in our early 20's, from the East Bay, and have fantastic credit and rental history. We're really excited to spend more than the usual short weekend trip in the Buttermilks.

Anything for June or July also works if May is not available. If you have anything open or know of anything, it would be awesome if you could let us know. Thanks a ton!

That is probably your best bet to find something in Bishop, unless there's a climber looking for some extra dough in exchange for letting you crash at their place.

Call Judy Northrup, FYI:she's a little crazy, We rented a 1 bedroom on the corner of Saniger & Dixon Lane in Bishop. her # is (760)935-0088 or (760) 914-2834. It's right across the open land south of the Happies. Tell her you are a climber, she has actually had a lot of good experiences with climbers. We were month to month and she gave all of our refundable deposit back (I don't remember if there was a non-refundable deposit)and rent was dirt cheap for here: $650.

If I was only going for 1 month and didn't have to go to a workplace every day I would just camp at the buttermilks or someplace nearby, then get a 10 punch to Keough's hotsprings for showers, but I'm cheap and I don't mind living in the dusty-dirt.
