Looking for partner for Dacks or Gunks, July 1st - 14th

I'm visiting my hometown (Cooperstown NY) first two weeks of July, and am hoping to find someone to partner up with for a day, possibly two, of climbing.
I'll probably end up bringing my rack, rope, etc, even if I end up not using it. Thanks SouthWest for the two free check-in items!

I'd prefer trad, but would be just as happy with sport. I'm a safe but confident climber, and don't much care what grade you climb at, as long as you can safely belay me.
Ping me if interested!

I'm gonna be heading to chapel pond pass tomorrow, solo, and looking for partners. I got a rack, doubles except for singles in hand sizes. Generally stoked on 5.8 - 5.11

Hi Scott! My name is Fernando and I am from Brazil. Will be in Manhattan from the june 27 thru july 5th. Would be psyched to climb a couple of days in the Gunks. I can lead 5.10+ on trad and will always be stoked to lead anything below that. I will also do my best to follow anything over that. I have taken several technical courses over the last 10 years including Amga rock guide course. Let me know if you are interested! Thanks have a nice day.

I live 5 minutes from the Gunks. Lead 5.7 follow 10b/c. Happy to climb if schedule permits. Cheers, Walt

Hi Fernando! Now that I'm thinking it through, it's unlikely I'll be able to get down to the Gunks the first week I'm in town, which means I'll probably be down there more like in the 7th thru 13th range. If that's the case, I'll just miss you. If you trip plans change, and you end up being around later than the 5th, let me know.
Walt, sounds great! Full disclosure: The Dacks are closer to my home town, so I may opt to go there instead of Gunks, depending on whether or not I can find a partner. I will let you know around the 6th what the plan is though.
Is messaging you via MP a good way of getting ahold of you? Feel free to PM me alternate contact info.

Hello all I am from washington state and will be traveling through the area and looking for a partner to climb either the gunks or dacks or both this sun, mon and/or Wednesday. Text me at 509-952-7663

I am a competent leader up to 5.13 depending on area and style. Happy to go up anything from 5.5 at the gunks on up. Just want to experience the stone.

Dammit, smashed my index finger pretty bad while fixing my mom's roof, so no climbing for me. Sigh. Best laid plans....

Yup, I just need the hatchet, and I'll be able to climb 5.14+!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
